ROCKFORD (WOOD-AM) - Parkside Elementary School in the Rockford will close at the end of this academic year.
The school board voted 4-3 last night to repurpose the building into an early childhood learning center.
Students currently attending Parkside will go to Valley View in the fall.
Meanwhile, in Grand Haven, board members have opted to close Mary White Elementary School and repurpose the building into an Early Learning Nature Center.
