GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Mel Trotter Ministries is celebrating its 125th anniversary today (Monday) with a donation drop-off to help homeless people in Grand Rapids.
It's at Mel Trotter's main entrance at 225 Commerce Avenue until 4 p.m. You can pull up to the curb in front of the mission and a staff member or volunteer will come to your car and collect the items.
They're looking for donations like men's T-Shirts, underwear, individually wrapped toothbrushes, deodorant, tennis shoes, twin sheets, shaving cream and razors.

Donation Drop-off Day to help men, women and children who do not have stable housing and are in need of everyday items.
The faith-based organization encourages everyone in the community to participate by donating essential items at 225 Commerce Avenue SW (front entrance). You just need to pull up to the curb in front of the mission and a Mel Trotter staff member or volunteer will come to your car and collect the items. Your gifts will support our guests, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need.
