CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Police have cited a driver for failing to yield, following a pin-crash in Crockery Township Monday morning.
It occurred just before 6:30 a.m.
Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies said an SUV had the green light when it was struck by a pickup truck that was making a turn from eastbound M-104 onto M-231. The 24-year-old Greenville woman who was driving the SUV had to be extricated from the wreckage by personnel from Crockery Township Fire/Rescue.
Police reported to WOOD Radio that the woman - whose name was not released right away - was driven to a hospital by Trinity Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The 50-year-old man driving the pickup truck was not injured. But deputies said he did get a ticket. He is from Pierson.
