ZEELAND (WOOD-AM) - Zeeland's MillerKnoll has become the first furniture company to announce that all of its products will be PFAS-free.
"Our products meet or exceed global PFAS regulations, but we are dedicated to setting the pace in creating products and spaces that go beyond minimum safety standards," Vice President of Sustainability Gabe Wing said in a press release.
The company says North American products will be free of the so-called "forever chemicals" starting in May of next year.
The commitment will be extended globally by the 2027 fiscal year.
