GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A two-day tear-down has started at the site of the former Duthler's Family Foods on Bridge Street.
It’s being torn down to make way for a five-story, 148-unit apartment building that will have retail space, a fitness center and a dog wash.
That project was approved for a $6 million loan from the Michigan Community Revitalization Program. It will also get a state tax capture up to $2.2 million.
