City of Grand Rapids postpones various programs today and ice rink opening

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The City of Grand Rapids tells us all of its Parks & Recreation programs are closed today, including opening of the Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink.

The rink will open at 10 a.m. tomorrow for the season. Skaters with reservations for today and want to rebook for another date will need to do so on the Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink website.

Also, today's Rosa Parks Essay Contest winners' celebration is postponed until a future date to be announced.

The 50-plus Programming at Garfield Park Gym and all fitness and youth classes are canceled. Refunds will be issued at the end of the session.
