GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Dementia Insitute will host a free memory screening and neighborhood health fair on Nov. 14 at the Woodlawn Ministry Center in Grand Rapids.
That is located at 3190 Burton St SE, west of the East Beltline.
Participants can get free blood pressure, blood sugar, vision and memory screenings. The event is part of the Institute’s efforts to promote Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.
The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment is required.
There will be door prizes and refreshments.
The Dementia Institute is hosting the health fair in partnership with Reliance Community Care Partners, Tandem 365, Atrio Homecare, Holland Home, the Calvin Students Nurses Association and Care Resources.
