Riverfront plans call for 43-story tower in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Plans for a six-acre space along the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids include a 43-story residential tower, according to planning documents.

That would be tallest building in the city.

It would be one of three high-rises in an $800 million project.

The Grand Rapids Brownfield Redevelopment Authority has approved the plan.
