MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. -- The Meceola Consolidated Central Dispatch says its non-emergency phone lines are back up and running.
The dispatch authority serves Mecosta and Osceola counties. According to a Central Dispatch social-media post, they went down sometime around 8 a.m. A dispatcher tells WOOD Radio they were back up and running just before 11:30 a.m.
There was no word about what caused the problem.
While the lines were not working, the dispatch authority had asked people to call 911 with any non-emergency issues. Now that the phone service is restored, those calls should be made to the non-emergency phone number.
