HOLLAND (WOOD-AM) - No word yet on the names of the two people who were killed when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Holland early Sunday morning during a police chase.
Officers were investigating a fight at a gas station near Washington Avenue and 33rd Street. Police say a car fled the scene at a high speed, firing shots as they left.
"I was just like, did that really just happen?" a neighbor told WOOD-TV. "Was that gunshots? Sure enough, by the time we woke up in the morning, our streets was flooded with cops."
Police say the driver lost control on a curve near 32nd near South Shore Drive.
