MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - The Muskegon Rescue Mission has partnered with Baker College to stock and run an on-campus student pantry that will have non-perishable food items, hygiene products and school supplies.
Students will need to show school identification.
The pantry also offers gift certificates that can be used at thrift stores for seasonal and career clothing.
"Food insecurity is a significant issue affecting many individuals, including college students. By working together, we can ensure our students focus on their academic success without the burden of hunger," Vice President for Campus Administration and Engagement Aaron Maike said in a news release.
