GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Michigan State Police say a woman slipped out of handcuffs and stole a trooper's patrol car Saturday night.

Troopers had been sent for a domestic call, but MSP has not said where that was other than the troopers were from the Grand Rapids post.

MSP says the woman bit a trooper while struggling, then later crashed the patrol car while she was being chased.

Her name and hometown have not been released.

She is in custody on a list of charges.
