GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Someone was arrested by Walker police after officers followed a driver they believe may have been involved in a shooting outside of a southeast Grand Rapids party store.
Someone got shot in the foot late Monday near MLK and Dallas.
Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom tells WOOD-TV the arrest was made after a standoff at the York Creek Apartments in comstock park.
"Detetives from both Walker and Grand Rapids are piecing this whole thing together now and are seeing what the maximum charges are we can place on the individual involved who very well may be the same person who shot this man at Miss Tracy's," Winstrom said.
Those with information are still being urged to call the Grand Rapids Police Department or Silent Observer.
