SAUGATUCK (WOOD-AM) - Short-term rentals in Saugatuck are being capped.

City councilors, in a 4-2 vote yesterday, opted to put a 20 percent cap on licenses in the the city's R-1 residential districts.

Current short-term rental licenses will be grandfathered in until the property changes ownership.

City planners recommended the cap in a 4-3 vote last month.
