Court date for man accused of striking tow truck driver

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A man charged with hitting and killing a tow truck driver in Kent County has pleaded not guilty to moving violation causing death, which is a misdemeanor.

Payton Ferris is accused of killing Keagan Spencer while he was trying to help a stray dog along M-6 last November.

Spencer's personal recognizance bond was set at $10,000.
