A ribbon cutting ceremony was held this morning at 9 AM at Union High School to celebrate the new makeover of 8 of their tennis courts thanks to a partnership with Grand Rapids Public Schools and West Michigan Community Tennis.
The restoration of the tennis courts and other restorations were made possible by a $52,000 grant from the US Tennis Association Foundation. The school district also added $69,000 to fund repairs.
