One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on 44th Street near Stafford Avenue.
At around 7:39 AM this morning, officers and firefighters with the Wyoming Department of Public Safety responded to the intersection of 44th Street and Stafford Avenue on a report of a crash involving a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle.
Sadly, the driver, and sole occupant, of the passenger vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The deceased person’s name will not be released, at request of the family.
Because of this, eastbound 44th Street will remain closed between Clay Avenue and Stafford Avenue for the next couple of hours as crash investigators process the scene and determine more precisely what happened.
