Michigan DNR Potentially Pressing Charges Against Hunter Who Shot Gray Wolf

The Michigan DNR has confirmed that they are exploring whether to bring criminal charges against a hunter who shot and killed a gray wolf in Calhoun County.

The endangered animal was shot and killed in January, with the hunter claiming he thought it was a "giant coyote".

However, experts are denying that claim, as the two animals bear absolutely no resemblance.
