Teenager robbed at gunpoint in Holland Township

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office brought in a K-9 to try to track down an armed robbery suspect early Friday morning in Holland Township.

But it was to no avail. Deputies say he robbed a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint around 1 o'clock in the Leisure Estates mobile home park on Butternut Drive. The girl was not injured. She told police she had just finished making a Tik Tok video when it happened.

She described the suspect as a light-skinned black man with a thin build. He had dread locks and a red tattoo on his neck.

Police say he was wearing a black jacket, black jeans and a black face mask at the time of the crime. Anyone with more information should contact Ottawa County Central Dispatch at 1-800-249-0911, or Silent Observer at 1-877-88-SILENT(745368).
