The Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Michigan will now be able to house more families who travel to Grand Rapids so that their children can receive medical treatment, thanks to a $2.5 million dollar expansion.
Today community members gathered to celebrate the reopening of the expanded hospitality house located on Cedar Street NE near Benjamin Avenue. The expansion will add more bedrooms in order to house more families, as well as adding more offices for Ronald McDonalds House staff members, who previously worked in the basement.
