The Michigan Department of National Resources (DNR) is allowing free fishing this weekend across the state.
From February 17th through February 18th, a fishing license won't be required to fish. Although you don’t need a fishing license for the weekend, all other fishing regulations will still apply.
The DNR will also waive the regular Recreation Passport entry fee that grants vehicle access to Michigan’s 103 state parks and more than 1,300 DNR-managed boating access sites.
