Muskegon Public Schools launches community perception survey

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- The Muskegon Public Schools have launched an online survey to gauge the public's perception of the district.

The anonymous 24-question study aims to solicit suggestions for improvement and any observations or concerns people in the district may have. You can find the English version at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/29CBVD8 . The Spanish version is at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5HQVDZC.

The effort is being organized by Muskegon marketing agency Revel, which the district has retained to help develop a multiyear strategic marketing and branding campaign. The survey is part of a larger initiative to help MPS more effectively communicate with its constituents.

“Muskegon Public Schools is committed to providing the best possible education for its students, so gaining input is invaluable in shaping the district's future,” said Matthew Cortez, superintendent of Muskegon Public Schools. “Every opinion and insight will help continue to enhance the educational experience for all. By completing the survey, you are helping ensure that Muskegon Public Schools continues to be a source of pride for the community for generations to come.”

The link to the survey was shared today across MPS social media channels, as well as emails to district residents and businesses. Anyone is welcome to complete the survey before the Feb. 14 deadline. Anyone completing the survey can provide an email to enter a raffle for a $100 prepaid Visa gift card.
