Ada Vista Elementary School will welcome their first ever emotional support dog.
Forest Hills Public Schools announced today their inaugural PRIDE Pup, named Jersey.
PRIDE” stands for Persistent, Respectful, Inclusive, Dependable, Every day. The district says Jersey will help foster a supportive and inclusive environment at Ada Vista.
Tomorrow the school will hold a ceremony to officially welcome Jersey and thank the donors who made her the opportunity to have an emotional support dog possible.
Another dog is currently in training, that will join Jersey at the elementary school later this year.
