HOLLAND, Mich. -- A 39-year-old Holland man faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison after being convicted of first-degree premedidated murder in the June 2022 shooting death of Joseph Roberts.
He died in an apartment on Lincoln Avenue near 39th Street.
Holland Public Safety detectives and the Allegan County Prosecutor's Office continued working on the case after that. Reportedly, the shooting happened after an argument.
After a two-week homicide trial, Holland Police say Thaddeus Cortrez Wilson was convicted by an Allegan County Circuit Court jury late Tuesday on that charge plus the following counts:
- Felony Firearm (4 Counts)
- Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine
- Felon in possession of a Firearm
He'll be sentenced March 18th at 9 a.m. in the 48th Circuit Court.
