The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services launched a new campaign that aims to educate the public on a key way to avoid the spread of HIV.
The initiative, called "MIPrEP, MIChoice", will focus on pre-exposure prophylaxis, a medication that when taken, can help a person prevent getting HIV.

The campaign will highlight personal testimonials from nine people, each with different backgrounds in hopes to encourage and make more people aware of the medication.
