New Program 'Humans of Muskegon' Shares the Stories of Muskegon Residents

A new 'Humans of Muskegon' programs invites people to hear stories of their neighbors. The program is in collaboration with the Muskegon Area District Library, Muskegon Community College and Hackley Library.

It began today with the release of 15 minutes of record stories from residents in Muskegon County, each sharing their stories of struggle, prejudice, hardships, triumphs and more.

From battles with cancer, to discussions about PTSD endured from time in the military, the stories are meant to humanize and connect us with one another; after all, you may never know what someone is going through.

Patrons are invited to engage with the stories at two events, one happening on Feb. 17th and another on April 3rd.
