The license of a local construction company, Bay to Bay Building Concepts, will remain suspended after it failed to pay back thousands of dollars in fines and restitution. This comes after a settlement was reached with the state back in November.
According to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the company's corporate officer, Jerold Saeman, was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine to the state and over $100,000 in restitution to a list of homeowners. All payments of which the company has not yet paid off.
