Kalamazoo County is looking for people to join a task force that will help address the opioid epidemic in the region.
The Kalamazoo Board of Commissioners has created the Opioid Settlement Task Force in response to recent national lawsuits set to pay the county millions of dollars in settlements. The board says they want to put that money to good use, where it would make the most "maximum impact".
The task force will be made up of six community members, where they will come up with solutions and strategies to answer '11 essential questions' regarding opioids and opioid overdoses.
