Warmer temperatures combined with a lack of snowfall has made it so people are able to go outdoors around the holidays and is also changing how some jobs have been able to operate this winter across West Michigan.
From kayaking and fishing to frisbee, activities normally reserved for the warmer seasons have been seeing some action this month. But leisure is not the only thing the warmer weather has affected, it's also impacting workers. The Kent County Road Commission has been able address drainage problems, which usually takes place during the early spring season.
