United Way seeks donations for 'Stuff the Sled'

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Heart of West Michigan United Way is looking for more donations as part of its "Stuff the Sled" drive. When you purchase items from the United Way's wish list, you help it provide holiday gift bags to local students enrolled in programs at Head Start for Kent County. The United Way says it's at 85 percent of its goal. Gifts range from $5 to $16.50.

Gift bags will include a toy to help them learn through play, a game to enjoy with their families, a book to jumpstart their imaginations, and a winter hat and gloves to keep them warm. (Story continues under photo)
