The 15-year-old Ottawa Hills High School student accused of bringing a loaded gun to Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids is now officially facing charges.
The teen was arrested yesterday after a stolen gun was found his backpack. The discovery was made after he set off the metal detector at the school yesterday morning.
He now faces felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and violating a weapons-free zone, as well as a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. The teen is being charged as a juvenile, which means the case will be sealed, and his name will not be released.
