The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 38-year-old Muskegon man suspected of numerous burglaries at storage units in the Northern portion of Ottawa County. At approximately 08:00 a.m. this morning, detectives made contact with the suspect, and he was taken into custody on several unrelated warrants.
Sheriff's Office Detectives had been investigating multiple break-ins at various storage unit facilities in Spring Lake, Grand Haven and the surrounding areas. After the arrest, Detectives recovered a large amount of stolen property from a residence in Muskegon. Investigators are working on identifying the victims and returning their property.
The suspect remains lodged at the Ottawa County Jail and will not be identified pending formal charges and arraignment.
