WYOMING, Mich. -- An 18-year-old bicyclist from White Cloud was shot dead a year ago today (Nov. 1) while riding on Indian Mounds Drive in the City of Wyoming.
On Wednesday, Wyoming DPS detectives held a news conference to provide an update on the investigation and to seek additional tips from the public in order to find out who killed Kane Coronado.
"Where you're going is full of endless possibilities when you're 18 years old," Detective Jennifer Kroschel said. "Any of those possibilities were snuffed out when he was shot while doing the most innocent of activities - riding his bike. Someone knows something."
And if you do know something more than can move the case along, you can contact the Wyoming Police or Silent Observer.
Accompany this article are a photo of Kane Coronado and a police-provided sketch of the suspect. Police say the suspect is a white man about 30 years old, with a medium build. He was described as having a thin, “scruffy” beard and sunken cheeks.
Police say he fled the scene in a 2000 to 2005 gray or silver sedan, similar to a Chevrolet Cavalier.
