PLAINWELL, Mich. -- Country music star Buddy Jewell will perform Aug. 23 at the the Allegan County Search & Rescue country music concert.
The 11th annual show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Plainwell Performing Arts Center, 684 Starr Rd. Single tickets are $25 and $40 for a pair. A family ticket good for up to eight people is $50.
Proceeds will go to Allegan County Search & Rescue. That is a nonprofit organization consisting of volunteers who assist police and fire departments when they search missing people.
Jewell won the top prize in the first season of the reality television show Nashville Star. His include "Sweet Southern Comfort" and "Help Pour Out the Rain."
