Ottawa Co. Deputy Administrator submits letter of resignation

HOLLAND, Mich. -- Ottawa County Deputy Administrator Patrick Waterman has submitted a letter of resignation to County Administrator John Gibbs, effective August 4th.

It was first reported by the Holland Sentinel. Third District county commissioner Doug Zylstra confirmed it to WOOD Radio.

"Patrick's been an exemplar of professionalism to the staff and residents of Ottawa County. I'm saddened to see him leave and, likewise, and read his reasons for leaving. Hopefully, this resignation letter serves as a call for us to examine our work as county leaders, and how we can better work together for all of our residents," Zylstra said.
