WYOMING, Mich. -- The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says one of its retired police K9s has died.
It says Dutch served with the department for about nine years before retiring in 2020. He was a dual-purpose dog trained in tracking and narcotics detection.
After retiring, Dutch spent the next three years of his life at home with his handler, Officer Kelsey Eisen. The DPS says Dutch was a "loyal and beloved member of the Wyoming Police family and will be greatly missed."
