ALLEGAN, Mich. -- The Allegan County Sheriff's Office says a 28-year-old Wyoming man has been arraigned on 26 counts in connection with alleged sexual misconduct.
Detectives say sheriff's deputies were assisted by the Wyoming Police Department and the FBI's West Michigan Based Child Exploitation Task Force in executing a search warrant in Wyoming. They say Gary Christopher Carlson was charged in Allegan County District Court on eight counts each of Aggravated Child Sexual Abusive Materials and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. Carlson also was charged with nine counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree and one count of Accosting Children for Immoral Purposes.
They say Carlson had been hired through an online child care provider to provide supervision of two female juveniles, one 14 years old and one 2 years old.
