GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police say the suspect in the June 22 downtown bank robbery has been arrested.
In a news release, the GRPD says They say 30-year-old Timothy Andrew-Lee Crane was charged with bank robbery, which is a felony. They did not disclose his name or indicate how he was apprehended.
Around 3:15 p.m. last Thursday, the Comerica Bank branch at 99 Monroe Ave., south of Pearl Street, was held up. Police say no weapon was seen during the robbery. And no one was hurt.
After getting some money, the suspect fled. GRPD and the FBI responded to the crime scene.
Police say there was no weapon seen by bank employees and no injuries were reported.
