HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force has arrested a teenager in connection with a standoff last month in Holland Township.
Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Xavier Pierre Rose was arrested in Holland today and booked into jail awaiting formal charges. He supposedly assaulted a woman inside an apartment on Westwood Lane on March 25th while an 18-month-old child was inside.
The woman escaped and called police. The child was not harmed.
The OCSO said in a news release about the original incident:
The Sheriff's Office Critical Response Team and Crisis Negotiators responded to the scene and attempted contact inside. Ultimately, the apartment was cleared and the male suspect and female child were not located inside. Investigators were able to locate the child with family of the male suspect.
