KCSO investigates if tobacco shop break-in tied to others

ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Kent County Sheriff's Office has released a surveillance image of someone who broke into a tobacco shop around 3:30 Tuesday morning on Alpine Avenue (4400 block) near Alpenhorn Drive.

Deputies say they arrived to find the front door smashed, along with a display case. Vape pens and some other items had been stolen. Detectives are trying to determine if the break-in was related to some other recent burglaries targeting vape pens.
