WYOMING, Mich. -- The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says the two men who died in a double-fatality shooting Friday morning outside a home were related, and had some kind of dispute beforehand.
They also say the medical examiner's report confirms it was a murder-suicide. The location was on Buchanan Avenue, between 28th Street and 32nd Street.
Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call that morning and found the bodies of 25-year-old Andrew Gil in a car, and 30-year-old Luis Gonzalez in the driveway.
The Wyoming DPS said in a news release:
"It has been determined that Louis Gonzales shot and killed Andrew Gil before turning the gun on himself and taking his own life. Andrew and Luis are related and evidence of a dispute between the two has come to light during the course of the investigation," the release stated.
