CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Michigan State Police say a 19-year-old teenager from Byron Center involved in a two-vehicle injury accident Tuesday afternoon on M-6 has died from her injuries.
It happened in the westbound lanes at Broadmoor Avenue (M-37) in Caledonia Township.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down for a couple hours. Troopers tweeted today that the teenager who was driving the pickup truck lost control entering the freeway from Broadmoor. She later died.
The driver of a box truck was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
