Allegan County, Mich. -- The older sister of a woman who allegedly was killed in a murder-suicide Saturday afternoon in Allegan County's Lee Township has set up a GoFundMe page to help the grieving family pay for funeral expenses.
The fundraising goal is 30-thousand dollars, and as of publication time for this article, nearly 10-thousand dollars had been raised so far.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Office says its early investigation found that 34-year-old Roger Kyle Hagger killed 35-year-old Cindy Clouse and their two daughters with a shotgun before turning the gun on himself. Sheriff Frank Baker tells WOOD Radio that detectives discovered Clouse was considering leaving Hagger before the shootings:
"From their interviews with friends and family, were able to determine that there were some relationship issues," he said. "And that there was talk of her leaving."
Sheriff Baker says, perhaps, that may've led to Saturday's shootings.
