Two shot outside bowling alley on Grand Rapids' west side

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police say they are not sure how the victims of an early-morning shooting Tuesday and the gunman know each other.

The GRPD said it happened just after midnight as people at a private birthday party were exiting a business in the 500 block of Stocking Avenue. That is near the Clique Lanes bowling alley. Police said two men were shot in the legs. When police arrived on the scene, one man had already been driven to a hospital. The other man was still on scene.

Neither injury was life-threatening.

Police do not believe it was a random shooting. No suspects are in custody as of late Tuesday afternoon.
