GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Loved ones of Breonna Taylor and Kavosaye Phillips marched through downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday to protest police brutality and racial injustice.
Taylor was a Grand Rapids native and died on March 13th following a police raid on her boyfriend's home in Louisville, Kentucky. Taylor still has family in the area. Phillips was involved in an altercation with police back in May that led to loved ones accusing the Grand Rapids Police Department of using excessive force.
