GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — More Juneteenth celebrations took place around West Michigan on Saturday that included one held at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids event took place until 8 pm Saturday evening.
Juneteenth, which occurred on Friday, celebrates the end of slavery.
