PRAIRIEVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police believe a deer is to blame for the motorcycle crash that seriously injured a Battle Creek man.
Around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, troopers were alerted to the crash on Norris Road just north of 4 Mile Road in Barry County’s Prairieville Township, located about 20 miles southwest of Hastings.
State police say they found 33-year-old Justin Ryan Skaggs at the scene, suffering from serious injuries. He was flown to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital for treatment.
