Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is extending its ongoing recall to include 68 lots of Losartan Potassium/Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets USP and 36 lots of Losartan potassium tablets USP. The company announcing this move on Friday in response to concerns of possible cancer-causing ingredients in the products.
Patients currently on those medications are advised to contact their health care provider or pharmacist, and to continue taking the medication until proper alternative treatment is available.
