Plane crashes in Mecosta County, no injuries

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — Two occupants in a single-engine plane crashed at Canadian Lakes Airport Saturday morning. 

Michigan State Police told 24HourNews 8 that troopers from the Mt.Pleasent Post were dispatched just after 10:30 a.m. to assist deputies from theMecosta Sheriff's Office for a single-engine plane that had crashed on a runway at the Canadian Lakes Airport in Morton Township, about18 milessoutheast of Big Rapids. 

The two occupants in the plane were not injured.
