MASON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A 57-year-old man was shot while inside his home by suspects shooting through his window while outside of the house early Saturday morning.
Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office were called just after midnight to a residence on Starbrick Street near Tharp Lake, abou t25 miles northeast of South Bend, Indiana, for a complaint of a shooting.
Authorities told 24 Hour News 8 that the suspects arrived to the man's home and demanded that he come outside to talk with them, and when the man refused to leave the suspects started firing a gun through a window, injuring him.
